22 x 11 ( A powerful way to identify internal self talk that sabotages you)

Below is an example of previous clients Paul's first day of identifying the internal dialog that kept him smoking. It is important to do this exercise daily for 11 days without missing a day. If you miss one day, or even get interrupted whilst doing it you have to start all over again from day 1.  No need to question this, give it a go, you have spent much more time smoking that this will take you.  It really works. This brings into awareness your deeper beliefs and emotions. Trust the process, you have so much to gain.

Repeat this column

Enter first thought after writing.

Internal self talk discovery exercise

Just as the example above shows, it  is your turn, don;t copy the right hand column, that's just as example from when Paul did it.

This exercise can reveal some underlying nonsense that keeps you stuck and also repeating "I am a healthy non-smoker" changes your mindset and makes it true.  Don't copy and paste.  Do it here, or grab a sheet of paper and make 2 columns.

This  22 x 11 exercise comes from a book called "Absolute Happiness" By Michael Domeyko Rowland.  22 Lines for 11 days.

7.

Self talk discovery

Look at some of your responses above in the right hand column.  What did you learn?  For example writing "I can sleep better" helped Paul realize that smoking was having an impact on his sleep, a benefit he hadn't considered.
